Orality Training: An Introduction to Contextual Bible Storying
Saturday, September 6, 8:30-4:30pm
Grace Fellowship Campus, Kids Ministry Building, Room 201
Please join us for this one-day workshop, hosted by Living Water, offering practical and proven principles in making disciples of oral preference learners. Discover why church and mission leaders today are saying the Orality Movement is transformational in church history and one of the most significant developments in advancing the Kingdom in the past 500 years.
Orality is the fastest growing movement in evangelism today, and it is changing the face of missions around the world. The rapidly reproducing disciple-making and church planting movements are among oral cultures in Asia, Africa and Latin America. Increasing numbers of churches and ministries in North America are also realizing the importance and impact of orality-based methods in sharing our faith and making disciples, anywhere, with any people group.
Anyone interested in becoming more effective in sharing your faith, disciple making, church planting or mission outreach anywhere in the world will greatly benefit from gaining a working knowledge of relational narrative communication skills and orality strategies. Participants are telling how this training is bringing transformation to their lives and increasing their effectiveness in sharing their faith and disciple making efforts.

Community Care Challenge Month
October 1- 31, 2025
“In Your Neighborhood”
Be the hands and feet of Jesus in October …
God’s greatest commandments are to Love God and to Love our Neighbors!
Join us in putting our Faith into Action and loving our neighbors as yourselves in our local community. There are so many ways to love our neighbors in our local neighborhoods – serve an elderly couple, honor a veteran’s family, help a single parent family, or bless a family with a chronically ill mom, dad or child. If you see a need in your local neighborhood, meet that need!
Here’s a link to a list of ideas to help your team get started!
If needed, our Missions team can also help you get connected with one of our church families in need or a local partner where you can meet one of their organizational needs too.
Missions will provide up to $500 for equipment, supplies, and materials for your community care projects. We also have a block party trailer (suitable for cooking for a group of up to 100 people), a tool trailer and several enclosed and open bed trailers that can help you with your community projects.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace
October 4th, 9am-12noon (build), 11am-2 pm (delivery)
Kickerillo Homes Office, 1306 S Fry Rd, Katy 77450
Come and join us as we partner with other local Katy Churches serving alongside of Sleep in Heavenly Peace in their mission of getting kids off the floor and into beds. In just a few hours of your time, you can make a direct, permanent impact in the quality of life for dozens of kids in our community!
Our team, under the guidance of SHP team members, will build bunks in an assembly line setup. There are stations for sawing, sanding, drilling, assembling, staining, and branding the wood. What started as a pile of raw lumber from the hardware store becomes ready-to-deliver bunks for local kids in need!
And, of course, newly built bunks serve no purpose until they’re delivered. Volunteers who help deliver beds see first-hand the direct impact their efforts have on a kid’s life. For some, it will be the first time they’ve ever slept in a bed of their own.
No prior construction experience or tools are needed.
Volunteers must be 8+ year old or older to participate.

This is a great family friendly serving opportunity!

Garden of Grace Fall Service Day
Saturday, November 8, 8:00-11:00 am
Grace Fellowship Campus
Happy Fall Ya’ll!
To celebrate this wonderful season, please join us Saturday, November 8, from 8:00-11:00am (come and go as available) at the Garden of Grace for a special service day.
Along with cultivating the garden, we will also undertake a number of special projects too. Some examples such as building more tomato cages, installing edging along the perimeter of the garden, applying varnish to our cross and benches, repair and organize the green house, and any other projects that will help the garden through the winter season.
Please bring gardening gloves if you have some. We’ll have plenty of snacks and water for everyone. Due to the type of work involved, this event is for volunteers ages 15+. We are happy to sign off on service hours for students.
We are so blessed at Grace Fellowship with a garden that in the past 4.5 years has produced over 60,000 pounds of produce for the Katy Christian Ministries food pantry and other under-resourced people in the Katy and Houston communities.
