Excursion 2026


Excursion is our annual Junior High Fall Retreat—a weekend designed for students to step away from the distractions of everyday life and invest in their relationship with God and one another.  
 
This year's theme, ALL IN, is based on Mark 12:30–31, where Jesus calls us to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Just like an athlete can't win by giving half their effort, we'll discover that following Jesus isn't about giving Him part of our lives—it's about surrendering everything to Him. Throughout the weekend, students will experience powerful worship, engaging biblical teaching, meaningful small groups, and unforgettable camp activities and games centered around our sports theme. They'll have opportunities to build lasting friendships, strengthen existing ones, and create memories they'll be talking about long after the weekend is over.
 
Whether your student has been coming to church for years or is just beginning to explore faith, Excursion is a place where they can have a blast, belong, and be challenged to take their next step with Jesus. 
 
Get ready for an incredible weekend at Tejas Camp. It's time to go ALL IN! 

The cost to attend Excursion is $235. This rate includes transportation (charter buses), all meals, housing at Camp Tejas for two nights, an Excursion t-shirt, and all retreat activities!

Revive 2027

Registration opens on 11/29

 

Revive, our annual High School retreat, is happening February 5th-7th, 2027! Join us at Camp Cho-Yeh for powerful worship, faith-stretching group sessions, engaging conversation in breakout groups, and all the camp-style fun your heart desires!

2027 Student Mission Trips

Registration opens on 11/8

 

High School Students

If you're interested in Mission Waco, the Serve Hope (Honduras) Mission Trip, or serving as a leader on the Generate Mission Trip with our junior high students, you’ll first need to complete a short application. Once received, our team will review your information and follow up within a week to talk about your interest and let you know if you’ve been offered a spot.

 

Please keep in mind that space is limited. Priority will be given to students who are actively involved in student services, small groups, and serving at Grace Fellowship. We’re so excited to see where God might be leading you!

New this year:

We know that registering for Revive and summer mission trips around the same time can be a significant financial commitment for families. To help make these costs more manageable, both high school mission trips will now use Managed Missions.

 

Through Managed Missions, students and families will have two options: raise support to help cover the cost of the trip or pay for the trip themselves over time, allowing payments to be spread out rather than paid all at once.

 

There’s another reason we’re excited about this change! Our desire has been to create a mission's pathway for students, giving them opportunities to grow in what it looks like to serve locally, nationally, and globally. Learning how to invite others to financially and prayerfully support a mission trip is a valuable part of that experience, and great preparation for students who may one day feel called to long-term missions beyond their time in Student Ministry.

  • Once approved for a High School mission trip, you will receive registration information and instructions for how to share your trip profile with family and friends. 

 

Mission Arlington

WHEN: March 6-11th, 2027

WHAT: Students will bring the light and love of Jesus to the Arlington community through various service projects. We will serve during the day and have group time together each evening. There will be lots of opportunties for our 8th graders to have some fun and bond together!

WHERE: Arlington, TX

*Mission Arlington partners with local churches to provide housing. Students will need to bring an air mattress or cot. Shower facilities are either onsite or will be rented and only available to our group.

WHO: Open to 8th grade students for the 2026-2027 school year

COST: $350

TRIP LEADER: Jayden Croson

 

 

Serve Hope

WHEN: June 23-29th, 2027

WHAT: Every family deserves access to safe, life-sustaining water. We will help provide clean drinking water to communities in rural Honduras, empowering families, protecting children, and opening doors for the gospel. Additionally, we will have the opportunity to build a home! Meeting real physical needs, like housing, while sharing the Gospel helps families feel loved and valued. 

WHERE: Honduras (Siguatepeque, Comayagua)

*Housing is provided by the mission partners.

WHO: Open to 11th and 12th grade students for the 2026-2027 school year.

COST: $2,000

*$250 deposit with ability to support raise. Trip refundable through April 1st.

**Scholarship funds have already been applied for each person, therefore no additional scholarships will be available.

Generate

WHEN: May 31st-June 4th, 2027

WHAT: Generate is strategic and intentional to create experiences where the name of Jesus is lifted up, where the Gospel is proclaimed through the preaching and studying of the Word, and where not only are students encouraged to take the next step in their faith journey, but the challenge and opportunity to be a person of global impact is clear. These experiences happen in times of personal devotion, in small group times of reading, listening and responding, in group building and serving, in times of corporate worship, and in strategic times with our church.

WHERE: Marshall, TX

*We will be on the ETBU campus. Most housing is dorm-style with two or four people per room, and either a suite-style bath, private bath, or community-style bath.

WHO: Open to 6th-8th grade students for the 2026-2027 school year.

COST: $350

Mission Waco

WHEN: May 30th-June 3rd, 2027

WHAT: We will bring the love and hope of Jesus to Waco by putting on a Kid's Club at a local apartment community, meeting physical needs through various work projects, and leading Chapel at a homeless shelter. 

WHERE: Waco, TX

*Mission Waco has their own housing facilities, which are separate girls/guys bunk rooms.

WHO: Open to 9th-12th grade students for the 2026-2027 school year.

COST: $350
