Small Groups: What We're All About

Small groups are usually made up of about 12 folks, meeting at their group-agreed schedule and place to help them grow relationally and spiritually through sharing, relevant Bible study, and prayer.

familyGuidelines for finding a small group:

  • You don’t need to know anything about God or the Bible to join a group.
  • You may visit as many groups as you like until you find your group. You are under no obligation to stay in a group that doesn’t “fit”.
  • Once you commit to a small group, we suggest you stay with the group until they complete their current study, usually 6 weeks to 12 weeks. Afterwards, you may recommit or visit other groups.

Any anxiety you may feel about getting to know a new group of people will soon be replaced with friends who really care about you. Proverbs 27:17 describes what will happen to you through your new small group – “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” One year from now, you will look back and be amazed at how much your love for God, others and yourself has grown.

While every group is unique, together each group will: Study the Bible, Pray, Serve God, Welcome new members and have fun! We have groups that:

  • Study different topics
  • Meet various times of the week
  • Are made up of different ages/stages of life
  • Offer childcare during the meeting
  • Provide other special needs…

With over 100 groups to choose from, there’s one for you!
