Meal Team

Our large congregation deals with many surgeries, illnesses, accidents and other stressful situations. The stress makes the simplest of tasks like cooking a meal difficult. Our Care Ministry helps by providing meals, support and encouragement. Not only do the meals comfort and bless the receiving family, but the meals witness to the observing neighbors and extended family.

Think of the Brother Lawrence story:   Brother Lawrence was the monk who was disappointed to receive kitchen duty instead of chapel duty. He chose to pray and worship while he cooked. This transformed his work into a sweet and blessed time with God. So let's take after Brother Lawrence and pray for the families receiving our meals. May they be comforted, healed and loved by God.

And cook what comforts your family. God has an amazing way of perfectly matching the offerings and the needs, and He wants to partner with you to provide for our church family. Enjoy the experience!

If you would like to be a part of the Care Meal Ministry, please contact the Care Ministry, 281-646-1903.
Your cooking is Kingdom work.

Freezer Meal Basics   Hot Meal Basics

A member of the Freezer Meal team prepares and freezes one or more casseroles every month. If each team member contributes, the church's needs will be met.

A member of the Hot Meal team prepares the meal (including side dishes) when contacted by the Meal Team Leader, notifies the receiving family of the meal to be provided, and delivers it to the family.
