TIME: New Volunteers: 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Returning Volunteers: 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.

Childcare will be available during the training with RSVP.
KIDS Place Volunteer Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the KIDS Place serving commitment?
In efforts to create consistency for and foster community with the children of Grace Fellowship, KIDS Place volunteers are asked to commit to serving August 2008 – June 2009. Given the duration of the serving season, we encourage volunteers who serve in a Class Leader role to serve every-other-week.
What if I need to miss a Sunday I am scheduled to serve?
Communication with your volunteer Zone Coach is essential to smooth Sundays – so if you need to miss a Sunday – which we know you’ll need to – be sure to alert your Zone Coach!
Two (2) trained/approved Adults Leaders are required in each KIDS Place class per our Safe Sanctuary guidelines. Adults who serve as Class Leaders will need to secure an Adult Substitute from their provided list of designated subs (mostly parents of the children in the class) to ensure their class remains open.
How does KIDS Place communicate with volunteers?
E-mail! The weekly “KIDS Place Volunteer Update” is sent via email every week and includes important updates and reminders, as well as an overview of and link to the upcoming KIDS Place lesson. It is essential we have an active email address for every volunteer – both youth and adult!
Why do Class Leaders have to arrive before service begins?
To attend VIBE! This 15-minute time for Class Leaders (both Adult and Youth) is an opportunity for staff to pass on words of encouragement and the latest updates, for serving teams to connect and bond before serving, and a time to get energized as we pray together!
If I serve, does my child attend KIDS Place for two services?
If you are serving on campus one service and worshipping the other, your child is most welcome to attend KIDS Place for two services. However, if your child is in Kindergarten - 5th Grade, they are welcome to enroll in Next Generation – an equipping time during the 10:45 service – where kids are given opportunities to grow in intimacy with Jesus as they are immersed in scripture (trained), led through interactive experiences that connect them to the heart of the Word (equipped), and given hands on training in the “Worship with the Word” worship model (released).
