About KIDS Place at Grace
At KIDS Place at Grace, we strive to provide ministry where all children are given the opportunity to develop an intimate friendship with Jesus in His perfect timing. Our mission is to teach and shepherd children to love God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength and to love their neighbor as themselves. Our goal is to do that by modeling what it looks like to love God with all our heart through worship, all our soul through prayer, all our minds through His Word and all our strength through missions. Our desire is that our wonderful volunteer teams and staff model a lifestyle of worship and prayer as they serve God by investing in the lives of our children.
We know children matter to God and value providing ministry with excellence that is safe, fun, and child-targeted. We desire to intentionally shepherd and teach the Bible creatively by being relevant to today’s kids.
Sunday Mornings
KIDS Place at Grace is our Sunday Morning ministry that provides infant through 5th graders opportunities to grow in their faith.
Nursery - Located on the first floor of the Mansion, our Nursery cares for the smallest of our congregation with loving hands and hearts as they learn it is OK to be away from mom and dad.
Toddler - Toddlers enjoy worship and being taught the Bible creatively in a classroom setting using multisensory experiences.
Preschool - 5th Grade – The Bible comes alive as kids are taught God’s Word creatively in a large-group assembly and then break out in to intentionally shepherded small groups for deeper discipleship and community building. High energy worship, corporate and individual prayer all serve to foster a growing relationships with Christ.
Next Generation
Next Generation is a children’s ministry equipping time held only during the 10:45 service time that is open to kids in Kindergarten – 5th Grade whose parents are serving Sunday mornings on campus and would otherwise have to attend back to back Sunday school hours. Children who participate in Next Generation are given opportunities to grow in intimacy with Jesus as they are immersed in scripture (trained), led through interactive experiences that connect them to the heart of the Word (equipped), and given hands-on training in the “Worship with the Word” worship model (released).
Walk, Run, Soar (Confirmation-type class for 3rd – 5th graders)
Parents and their children have the opportunity to participate in a 2-Sunday experience – offered in the Fall and Spring – which covers the basics of the Christian faith and the tools to invite Jesus to be their forever friend when they are ready, and in His perfect time.
